(March, 1989) Speedy is too small to be on the NASCAR circuit, so instead he drives, as his license plate will tell you, a GNOME CAR. Like Dog-Leg, he knows it's important to wear a hard hat and acorn ear muffs for noise protection. Speedy is holding a lifesaver for luck as he negotiates this sharp turn, but his expression says that he's not going to make it around the dog-leg. His coin confirms that if he doesn't make the curve, there will be "no cash value" at the end of the race for Speedy.
