(Pisces, 1988) Aunt Jewell is another one of my country people, busy with the everyday farming chores. She is scrubbing overalls for her sons, who are in the feilds doing the spring plowing and planting. her washtub is on the back portch, so that she can enjoy the morning sunshine. Hopefully her cap will keep her hair in place until Sunday, so she'll look nice for church. Some may call her rawboned, but she's thankful for her health and her strength - on a farm everyone works hard from dawn till dusk. Aunt Jewell has never owned a jewel, but her family knows that she is one.
